Pryp'yat 'is a ghost town in the Ukrainian oblast of Kiev about 15 km from the border with Belarus. 
It was founded on 2/4/1970 and was a closed city, not accessible to people outside. 
Pryp'yat', a city with 55000 inhabitants, was evacuated in 1986 by the Chernobyl nuclear disaster.
